One of the most famous dogs in the world is Tinkerbell, the little Chihuahua owned by heiress Paris Hilton. Tinkerbell was born on October 31, 2002 in Athens, Greece. Tinkerbell was bought from a Greek Breeder named Andreas Evagelopoulos and is named after the little fairy from Disney’s Peter Pan, if you couldn’t already guess that. Tinkerbell has an extended family, she has her mom Paris, who never goes anywhere without her. She has a sister named Bambi, again after a Disney movie of the same name.
When Paris started carrying around Tinkerbell, other stars as well as everyday people began purchasing these little dogs more and more. Paris and Tinkerbell have brought more attention to the breed of dog more than anyone else ever has. Tinkerbell has appeared on her mistress’s the Simple Life series from time to time.
Tinkerbell is an accomplished author too; she had a book titled The Tinkerbell Hilton Diaries. But Tinkerbell’s life is not so great all the time. On August 12, 2004, Tinkerbell was missing after Paris’s apartment was robbed. She even offered a $ 5000 reward to anyone who found Tinkerbell. She was found safe and sound 6 days later.
Tinkerbell is also the subject or rumors, it was reported that in 2005, Paris gave her mother Tinkerbell so Paris could play with her new favorite Bambi, but those were just rumors. Paris and Tinkerbell are as close as ever. Tinkerbell was even the object of a joke on the hit TV show South Park; they portrayed Tinkerbell as a dog looking to commit suicide because she was Paris Hilton’s dog.
